Course objectives
The course expands knowledge on cytology and histology. It is realized as set of practical courses. Principal aim is training of work with light microscope, preparing of simple temporal preparations, and educational content in cell and tissue structure.
Syllabus
  • 1. Construction and function of light microscope 2. Protozoan native preparations 3. Morphology of animal cells 4. Osmotic resistance of cells 5. Cell cycle, mitosis 6. Meiosis, genesis of gamets 7. Epithelial tissue 8. Connective tissues, structural tissues 9. Trophic tissues 10. Muscle tissue 11. Nerve tissue 12. Dissection of vertebrates 13. Background of work with electron microscope
