Course objectives
Course deals with following chapters: Structure of metals and intermetalics. Properties of metals and methods of their testing. Principles of metal productions: crystallisations, electrochemical deposition of metals, metallic thin layers. Special materials-production and properties. Iron alloys. Superalloys. Nonferrous alloys. Pulver metallurgy. The aim of course is to present basic knowledge about chemistry of metallic materials.
