Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: geographical exploration of urban issues; to give an overview of urban theories and concepts; to analyze the urban development under different societal and economic conditions; to provide methods and techniques of urban analyses.

Assessment methods
Teaching methods - lectures, class discussion, homeworks, reading, class exercises and group projects. Colloquium (oral) takes into account basic orientation in the subject and ability to work independently during class exercises.
