Course objectives
The aim of this course is to introduce internet based systems and tools for presentation and visualization of environmental information and introduce and analyse current environment web portals.

  • 1. Web standards, web portal, horizontal and vertical portals 2. Programming on client and server side, skripting languages, databases, HTTP, AJAX, FLASH, FLEX, forms processing 3. Security of web portals 4. Design, CSS, acessibility, SEO 5. Web services, SOA, Semantic Web 6. Vizualization and publication of maps, GIS, map applications 7. Environment web portals, government portals, news portals 8. Map based web portals 9. Data based web portals
