Course objectives
During the seminar, student solves several basic problems from optics, quantum physics and solid state physics.
The problems are selected to help student's insight into physics and to reduce the anxiety of math.

Assessment methods
Solutions to given problems, prepared as homework, are presented by the participants during the seminar.
3 tests are written during the semester.
Active participation on the seminar and succesful tests are required for the credit.
