Course objectives
Students are acquainted with the determination of social education as the scientific discipline, with the basic development trends in this branch. Students are focusing on the social educational paradigm, on the influence of environment and education. They describe the actual problems of social education. At the end of this course students should understand the chosen aspects and possibilities of substitute family care, the institutional care, the students solve the problems in the context of family education as the primary socialization element. The other objectives can be summarized as follows: - the profession of social pedagogue, the character of his work activities and competences, the conditions for exercise of a profession and the possibilities of further use in profession. - penitentiary care, the helping professions, the exact determination of social pedagogue profession (including the emphasis of his competence)

  • . 3.The education and its role in the socialization of the human being.
  • . 4.The relation of environment and education.
  • . 5.The types of enviroment: the school enviroment, the family enviroment, the enviroment of peer groups, the work enviroment, the leisre time enviroment.

  • . 7.The risk groups (and problem groups) in the society.
