Mapping course is organized in the area outside of Brno city.
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to learn geomorphological, pedological and biogeographical mapping techniques; to draw analytical and complex geoecological maps. - Syllabus
- Mapping course contains following working steps:
- 1. Analysis of topographical maps and aerial images of the territory in study. Introducing the mapping area. Compilation of preliminary inventory list of landforms present in the area.
- 2. Visual delimitation of elementary geoforms in the topographic map, compilation of preliminary map of geoforms.
- 3. Validation of delimited geoforms in the field, geomorphological mapping.
