Course objectives (in Czech)
Znalost možných geologických katastrof, jejich rizikovost ve světě i konkrétně ve střední Evropě.
Syllabus
  • a) Vulkanismus a jeho rizika, možnosti předvídání.
  • b) Zemětřesná činnost, její měření a možnosti předvídání. Neotektonika. Podzemní jaderné výbuchy.
  • c) Sesuvy, mury, skalní řícení.
  • d) Povodně, rizika v říčních nivách, vliv klimatu a člověka na povodně.
  • e) Prachové bouře.
  • f) Stará důlní činnost, poddolování, metanové riziko.
  • g) Radonové riziko, přirozená radioaktivita hornin.
  • h) Dopady kosmických těles.
