Course objectives (in Czech)
Cílem předmětu je seznámit posluchače s institucemi, ve kterých nacházejí uplatnění absolventi Geografického ústavu Přírodovědecké fakulty Masarykovy univerzity a další geografové. Studenti jsou seznamováni jak se zaměřením a posláním konkrétních institucí, tak s náplní práce geografů, působících v těchto institucích, i s aktuálními projekty a výzkumnými či praktickými záměry, které zástupci těchto institucí řeší.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • 1) Úvodní přednáška: příležitosti a rizika uplatnění absolventů studia humánní geografie.
  • 2 až 12) Přednášky expertů o činnosti pracovišť, která reprezentují, a o jejich konkrétních výzkumných nebo aplikovaných projektech.

Teaching methods
Presentations of specialists active in scientific sphere and professionals from apllied geography, including project advisors. The course follow the seminar 1.

Předmět je zakončen zápočtem, který studenti získají za odpovídající docházku a za aktivní účast při diskuzích s odborníky z praxe.
