- Course objectives
- Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to understand of phylogeny of vascular plants; to learn the diversity of taxa (on family level) with special remarks to the Flora of Central Europe.
- Syllabus
- Phylogeny of vascular plants. Rhyniophyta. Lycopodiophyta, Equisetophyta, Polypodiophyta, Cycadophyta, Pinophyta, Gnetophyta (recent families, genera and species). Magnoliophyta - Magnoliidae, Liliidae. A survey of families in the Flora of the Central Europe. Important families, genera and species in ecosystems and economy.
