- Course objectives
- This course learns advanced astronomical methods for modern astronomers.
- Syllabus
- 1. Dynamics of solar system (integration of equations of motion of bodies in the central gravitational force, perturbational methods of solutions, multi-particle systems).
- 2. Stellar models (equations of stellar equilibrium, numerical solution, time evolution).
- 3. Eclipsing binary stars (light curve acquiring, models and interpretation of light curves)
- 4. Blazars (satellite data archives acquiring, interpretation of high-energy spectra, jets).
- 5. Image processing (FITS image format, source extraction, calibration, image filters)
