Course objectives
The course includes field trips to archaeological sites or important outcrops of quarternary sediments in the Brno city and sorroundings. Students will be introduced with geology of sites and with the basics of soil and sediments description relevant for archaeological practice. Deposits from selected sites will be analysed during laboratory practice.
