Course objectives
After the completion of the course the student should be able to:
understand authentic physical texts up to the level B2 of CEFR
understand spoken discourse concerning physical topics at B1 level of CEFR
communicate on a special topic at B1 level of CEFR
skim the text and understand its general meaning
scan the text and find a piece of specific information
formulate the main ideas of the text
distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information
summarize relevant information
give information about one´s studies at university
define
express cause and effect
present simple physical topics
apply the acquired skills to new physical topics

  • Syllabus of the course: topics from physics (see the list), pretesting updated tests (last or last but one week of the course).It is not necessary to pass the test but writing the test is a necessary condition for completing the course.
