- The main objectives of the course are the following: geodetical bases of maps and digital spatial data main characteristics of projections used projection in a state map production projections in main GIS tools

- 1. Main characteristics of projection, their consequence for maps and digital spatial data
- 2. Distorsion, types, distorsion and map content realtionship, scale factor
- 3. Line distorsion, extrems, evaluation
- 4. Angular and areal distorsins
