Doporučuje se základní znalost fyziky v rozsahu jednosemestrální přednášky z fyziky (např. F1240 Fyzika pro chemiky I, VB005 Panorama fyziky I, F2120 Fyzika apod.).

Course objectives
At the end of the course students get the following skills:
Measurement of the basic physical quantities in Mechanics, Thermics, Optics and Electricity.
Evaluation of the experimental data including experimental error analysis.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introductory lesson. 2. Infrared and ultraviolet radiation – class experiment. 3. Properties of electric devices. 4. Automation of measurement with PC, system ISES. 5. Measured data processing - class experiment. 6. Temperature measurement. 7. Thermal properties of water. 8. Absorption and emission of light. 9. Vacuum. 10. Properties of liquids. 11. Magnetism. 12. Eyesight.

Laboratory exercise.
Assessment methods
The student must measure all nine individual experimental problems and fill up the working sheet with his own experimental results, numerical calculation and theoretical answers.
