In the end of this course, the student will be able to understand the importance of analytical fluorescence spectroscopy in biology and chemistry.
Syllabus
  • 1. Analytical fluorescence spectroscopy - background of fluorescence, instrumental concepts, errors and pitfalls in fluorescence.
  • 2. Luminescent labels and probes – general overview.
  • 3. Applications in biology, chemistry and sensors.
