- Course objectives
- The subject presents methods and technical and organizational provision of measurements on water bodies and systems of gathering hydrological data on surface and ground waters in general. The second part is focused on water resources, refilling and quantification of ground water.
- Syllabus
- Subject and development of hydrometry. Topographic and height measurements on water bodies. Gathering information on individual parameters of the water balance formula. Hydrometric and hydrographic characteristics of drainage basins. Measurement of water level, flow rate, sediment load, water temperature. Movements of water surface. Determination of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of ground water. Collection and analysis of samples. Principles of localization and operation of water-measuring objects.
