Course objectives
Aim of the course is to make students familiar with selected methods that enable to evalutate of scope of indivivdual physical activities.
Syllabus
  • 1.Functional anthropology and use of methods of functional anthropology and practical use of these methods.
  • 2.List of basic anthropological methods - anthropometric methods, anthroposcopic methods, instrumentarium.
  • 3.Basic anthropometric landmarks, lengths, widths and circumferential parameters, skin folds.
  • 4. Frequetly used dimensions and indieces. Its interpretation. Special methods for evaluation of development of an individual.
  • 5.Body composition and its determination.
  • 6.Evalutation of body constitution, typological schools. Heath-Carter typology - determination of somatotype.
  • 7.Motoric abilities. Realtionship between typology and motorics.
  • 8.Evaluation of optimal weight, growth and proportionality of development. Evalutaiton of stability and predictability of development.
  • 9.Locomotive system, body posture and possibilites of evalutation of muscle functions.
  • 10.Locomotive stereothypes from point of view of modern kineziology.
  • 11.Health, fitness, risk factors of health demage in relation to selected parameters of functional anthropology. Obesity and possibilities of its evaluation.
  • 12.Morphology and function of foot.
  • 13.Function diagnostics from point of view selected physiological parameters.
