Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following: acquainting students with principles of cartographic visualization acquainting students with systems for cartographic EDA At the end of the course students should be able to: properly visualize quantitative phenomena select appropriate symbols and colors design map face in web or electronic environment

Assessment methods
Final written exam and evaluation of elaborates. Class exercises consist of three elaborates. The maps will be the main part of them. Elaborates will be evaluated by commission.
