- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- In the seminar, modern diagnostic methods as well as simulation techniques, which were not possible to present in the framework of basic lectures, have been discussed. Every student has to present a lecture on selected subject
- Learning outcomes
- Students understand principles of selected modern diagnostic method for being possible to use them in their work.
- Syllabus
- Retarding field energy analyzers; Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy; Quartz crystal microbalance measurements; Probe measurements - cutoff probe, hairpin probe, two-resonance probe, multi-pole resonance probe; Magnetic force microscopy technique; Electric-field measurement technique - Pockels effect, Kerr effect; THz spectroscopy; Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy; Cyclic voltammetry; Sensitivity analysis and optimization of a numerical model; Direct simulation Monte Carlo method used in magnetron discharges
