Course objectives
The aim of the fieldwork is to verify students' abilities to use previously discussed methods of mapping using available technological equipment. The student should master the basics of topographic and thematic mapping. Ability to orientate themselves in the field and use maps. The exercise consists of two relatively independent parts when the first is focused on the topographic mapping and the second on the thematic mapping.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this fieldwork, students should be able to:
- perform basic surveying methods in the field of topographic and thematic mapping.

Assessment methods
5 day intensive fieldwork course. Credit will based on quality of the final project. If the personal presence at field classes will not be possible, the mapping will be carried out remotely using a mobile application.
