- Course objectives
- After the successful completion of course, students should be able to: - discuss the problematics of microscopic structure of individual tissues and organs. - make use of practical information and skills to link the knowledge of microscopic anatomy to macroscopic anatomy and to physiological processes.
- Learning outcomes
- Students should be able to: - determine and describe microscopic structure of tissues and organs - compare histological differences in selected species of vertebrates - assess structural changes initiated by experimental conditions - evaluate selected pathological processes in laboratory praxis

- Teaching methods
- In the course, students train microscopic analysis of individual tissues and organs. Furthermore, they practice techniques of specialized staining methods and their use in research.
- Assessment methods
- The practical course finishes by the discussion with the teacher. Students prove their knowledge in dialogue with the teacher, credit is awarded by the teacher according to correctness and perfection of the answers.
- Language of instruction
- Czech
