Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize the students with a theory and a practice of creating teaching materials in chemistry. The emphasis is put on electronic teaching materials practically usable in chemistry tuition in high schools.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, student: is able to compare and contrast different teaching materials and select an appropriate material for particular pedagogical goal; is able to design and create a brief teaching material for chemistry tuition.

Teaching methods
The course consists of 12 two-hour practical lessons, where students learn the theory of creating teaching materials, and, most importantly, practically learn the basics of creating their own electronic teaching materials.
Assessment methods
Completing the course: credits are received on the base of a student performance analysis (assessment of created teaching materials, active participation in the lessons).
