Course objectives
The course of analytical hydrogeochemistry aims at students with a predominantly chemical background to get a practical experience with hydrogeological systems, methods of study and visualization of the acquired data.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course students are able to…
* Analyze the spread of substances through the environment
* Analyze isotopic data of water composition and assess origin & development of the water
* Assess properties, origin and occuring processes based on water composition
* Compile basic hydrogeochemical diagrams and visualizations
* Build a geochemical model of a carbonate system
