- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to: find and identify structures that develop during embryogenesis and organogenesis; perform the basic tests of andrological analysis, understand the main practical issues of regenerative and reproductive medicine; dissect mouse and chicken embryos; interpret and present the results from embryology orientated manuscripts.

- 1. Introduction, study of slides: reproduction, gametogenesis; 2. Methods of andrological analysis – sperm count test, gametes survival, gametes preservation (Sus scrofa forma domestica); 3. Study of slides: pulmonary system, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal system, urogenital system, axial skeleton, muscular system, integument, immune tissues; 4. Sub/in/fertility, reproductive medicine in praxis (excursions); 5. Dissection of mouse and chicken embryos in order to get acquainted with the specific structures connected with embryonal development; 6. Interpretation and presentation of the results from embryology orientated manuscripts.

- Practical exercises, study of slides, excursions, and homework
- Assessment methods
- Students need to attend all tutorial sessions. Keeping records from lessons is compulsory and their evaluation is a second part of final assessment. Third part of final assessment is the completion of description of blind embryologic schemes or histological specimens.
