- The objective of these professional excursions is to provide the students of biology and biochemistry practical experience with workplaces that use microbiological and biotechnological methods in processes and technologies. The students will visit the following plants and companies during the four half-day tours: (i) Enantis, (ii) Czech collection of microorganisms, (iii) FOODTECH MENDELU, and (iv) sewage treatment plant in Modrice.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of this course, the students will be able to describe processes using microorganisms for the production of beer and in wastewater treatment. They will be able to describe the function of the collection of microorganisms.
