Information on the extent and intensity of the course: 7D. - Teacher's information
- Excursion areas are chosen so that biogeographically different areas are visited in the consecutive years. As a rule, excursions to the Central European mountain areas and the Mediterranean alternate. If the number of registered students exceeds the capacity of the bus, priority is given to Master's students of Botany, Nature Conservation - specialization Botany, PhD students of Ecological and Evolutionary Biology - specialization Botany and Bachelor's students of Ecological and Evolutionary Biology - specialization Botany. Students cover the costs of the excursion themselves; for students studying in fields guaranteed by the Department of Botany and Zoology, the Department can cover a part of the costs. To make the price of the excursion affordable for everyone, we sleep in tents in the camps. In the second half of April or the first half of May, two seminars dedicated to theoretical preparation for the excursion will be included in the program of the Botanical Seminar. The excursion usually takes place between the middle of May and the end of June. It can be completed several times during the study.
