The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
This course supplements the lecture Introduction into Physics. The aim is to gain the practical experience in solving physical problems. Students need only basic calculus on the introductory level.
At the end of the course students will be able to solve physical problems using basic mathematics apparatus.
Learning outcomes
Absolving the course a student obtains following abilities and skills: • the role of mathematics in a physical discipline • ability to obtain derived assertions from principles of classical mechanics • ability to solve problems and examples of general physics • to understand the basic procedures used in solving physical problems

The student must have recognized homework assignments (the two worst results are deleted) and must obtain at least 50% of points from the final written test. 3 absences are tolerated.
