Course objectives
The course deals with principles of measurement and interpretation of rock magnetic data.
Learning outcomes
The student will understand the magnetic properties of the rocks, will be familiar with the measurements of anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility and will be able to interpret the measurement results.

  • Magnetic properties of rocks. Measurement of magnetic susceptibility. Interpretation of measured values.
