Students should have a basic course of differential and integral calculus, linear algebra and basic knowledge of programming.

Course objectives
This is a companion course to the mathematics for the major and minor study plan. The aim of the course is practical mastery of gained theoretical knowledge using available software.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- perform differential and integral calculus using computers
- construct approximations of data using splines, interpolation polynomials, Bezier curves, and so on.
- use some numerical methods

  • Symbolic and numerical differentiation
  • Symbolic and numerical integration
  • Series, Taylor expansion, Fourier series
  • Numerical solution of nonlinear equations
