Course objectives
The course aims to introduce students to the available grants at the national and international levels and the basic principles of project management.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - Identify the main project challenges in the subject area on the national and international level. - Design the technical and economic part of a selected grant - Orient themselves in the main project phases. - Communicate with grant sponsors.
Syllabus
  • - What is a project and how to manage it successfully - The main types of research projects and their suitability for the field - Principles and structure of a project application - Project economics and costing principles - Practical example of a project application
Teaching methods
Presentations and practical demonstrations using the Internet; preparation of the project proposal in the selected subsidy scheme.
Assessment methods
A project proposal and related discussions are the evaluation methods within this course.
