- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to combine interdisciplinary geographic knowledge and skills from physical and social geography and cartography in a practical solution of a spatial problem. A sub-objective is to link geographic education at the universities in Brno, Paris and Cagliari in the framework of the international EDUC project.
This is a joint course with the University of Paris-Nanterre and the University of Cagliari within the framework of the international EDUC project. - Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- identify spatial problems and describe tools to solve them;
- identify and describe trends for further development in the territory;
- discuss and argue substantively over sub-regional development problems;
- collaborate effectively in an international team; - Syllabus

- Team work, theoretical preparation, field research (combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods), preparation of presentation/poster/article, group discussion

- In the academic year 2023/2024, the field part will take place in Brno during the week of 8-13 March 2024. Online meetings are currently scheduled for February 26 and April 10, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
