About the title holder

Doc. PhDr. Markéta Pitrová, Ph.D. is a member of the team of the Department of the International Relations and European Studies since its founding year 2002. She is a guarantor of the European Studies programme, Doctoral studies supervisor, member of Scientific Board of Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University, Vice-Dean of Faculty of Social Studies, a long-time fellow worker of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic and an author of many important publications.

Probably her most important work is a book called Evropská unie which she wrote in 2003 with her colleague prof. Petr Fiala, which is also Jean Monnet Chair title holder. As for the big concern the book has been published in several versions and in more than 6000 copies.
