Aims of the chapter - What will you learn? To understand the basic concepts related to visual impairments in education, to be able to define and evaluate visual impairment from different scientific perspectives, to be able to explain differences in approaches to students with low vision and students who are blind, to know the types of visual impairments, to be able to apply different types of intervention and adaptation to education of children with visual impairments in inclusive settings
