  • Parts of the final state examination and its content
    The state final exam consists of a thesis defense and 3 subjects of the state final exam. The subjects of the state final exam are:
    1) Hydrogeology
    2) Water industry
    3) Water management.

    For the subject of the final state exam in Hydrogeology, the following subjects are mandatory during the course of study:
    - Methods of hydrogeological research
    - Hydrogeological modeling
    - Practical hydrogeology
    - Hydrogeology legislation.

    For the subject of the final state examination in Water Management, the following subjects are compulsory during the course of study:
    - Water chemistry and technology
    - Waterworks
    - Groundwater harvesting methods
    - Intake well project

    For the subject of the final state exam Water Management, the following subjects are compulsory during the course of study:
    - Practical tasks of water management
    - Management of water resources
    - Applied hydrology and landscape water management
    - Work with state administration databases.

    The following subjects are also compulsory during the course of study:
    - Regional hydrogeology
    - Preparation of the final report
    - Legislation in water management.
  • Suggestion of theses topics and the topics of defended theses
    1) Proposal for revision of protective zones of the selected water source
    2) A project to strengthen the water source for supplying the inhabitants of the selected village with drinking water
    3) Design of the technology of the clogging device of the selected industrial building to support the recycling of waste water
    4) Selection of a suitable version of the spatial plan of the selected municipality to improve the water balance of the landscape and strengthen water resources
    5) Impact of the expansion of the selected mining area of mineral resources on groundwater and water resources
    6) Impact of climate change on the selected water source and variants of its strengthening
