Cíle předmětu
Practical lessons will help students to familiarize themselves with and engage in simple social interactions. With a total of 60 lessons the aim of the Beginners’ course is to enable students to communicate effectively at the partial level A1. The objective of this course is for participants to gain the ability to interact in a simple way, relying on a tolerant approach of the recipient (the Czech native speaker). Students will be able to discuss everyday topics and ask questions regarding them. Czech will be taught in group of 12 students in the morning classes. For afternoon conversation classes, students will put into two smaller groups (6 students per group, taking place 3 times a week). The conversation classes will focus on vocabulary related to leisure activities organized by the staff which students are encouraged to take part in. The working language will be English. To accelerate knowledge acquisition students are expected to do daily homework assignments (learning new vocabulary and phrases).
