Course objectives
The main aim of the subject – The Financial Investment is introduced to students with financial market assets and financial investment. There will be introduced basic characteristics of financial market trends, new financial assets and their usage in modern portfolio. The subject is focused on deeper analysis of forms, kinds and manners of investment with securities or other financial instruments. This course takes up knowledge gained in the course Financial Markets. The course is dividend in individual lectures. The attention is focused on understanding of investment background, explanation of particular financial products and investment strategies. In this course there are also introduced tendencies in financial market development and its impact on situation in capital market.


Course objectives Knowledge gained in this source deeper students information about capital market. This knowledge serves as a background for comprehension of the subsequent courses related with finance.

The course has a form of a lecture. The course is concluded by the written examination and short oral discussion. Student must elaborate and deliver an essay.
