- Cíle předmětu
- This course gives students specialized information on the starting conditions, process and results of the transformation of the national financial system of the Czech Republic; entry conditions, history and actual data of the transformation of the financial system of the Czech Republic. This course follows the continual transformation of the financial system of the Czech Republic towards standards of market economy. The course topics describe the key factors of the financial system of the Czech Republic. The course is taught in English and completed with a written exam. The course is targeted at analyzing the development of the Czech economy since the beginning of the 1990s till today. The lectures deal with the financial system in the Czech Republic as a part of a global financial market. Knowledge gained in the course should help students better understand the functioning of the financial system during the transformation process. In the course students should apply their knowledge gained in other courses taught at the FEA. The main objectives of the course are the following: - to provide information about transformation prosess in the Czech Republic with special focus on banking system, capital market and insurance market. - to provide knowledge which will serve as a background to follow-up courses.
