- Quality of Goods in Trade (SDKZ) Quality of a product or service is increasingly gaining importance as a competitive factor in the battle to win the customer. The aim of the subject then is to acquaint students with the latest knowledge in quality management and with a comprehensive view of the notion "quality of goods", methods and techniques of analysis and improvement, or goods and services quality assurance. In view of the current development of international cooperation and trade, as well as the planned Czech Republic s entry to the European Union the problems of global development of the quality concept and direction of the European Quality Policy will be outlined. The institutional framework of quality management will be presented, including legislation and the fundamental components of consumer protection. Examination: oral
