Course objectives
Communication in an Organisation (KVKOOR) The course focuses on the systematic explanation of communication as a multi-faceted process whose various aspects may be used in economic, managerial and organisational practice. The course is oriented professionally and practically. The topics covered include a number of concrete examples from economic practice and they are supplemented with an overview of basic procedures and skills of effective communication. The course is designed so that students can fulfil several objectives after completing it: 1. To be able to understand communication as an object and instrument of their professional and managerial work. 2. To be able to determine the tenets of effective communication with respect to its purpose and to know ways of removing communication barriers. 3. To be able to distinguish between different types of interpersonal communication and apply their specific possibilities in various organisational situations. Examination: written test and oral exam.
