- Cíle předmětu
- The objective of the course is to give students the knowledge of recent issues, concepts and principles of operations management. The course itself can be divided into three parts. The term of operations management, its role and major tasks are explained in the beginning of the course. The second part deals with the question of planning and designing productive processes in a factory. The third part describes how the productive systems operate. Students also get familiar with several methods and tools used in this field. During the course, minor attention is paid to information and communication technologies and to environmental issues in production process.
