Course objectives
The objective of the course is to present students basic knowledge of tourism management that should be known to provide effective managing (development) of a destination. Moreover it is essential to point out the important aspects that influence the process of destination management and the existence of the destination management company itself.

Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able
- to define key terms from the destination management terminology;
- to identify basic specifics of destination management process;
- to apply the knowledge of destination management in practice;
- to analyze a destination management company from the life cycle point of view ;
- to evaluate the development of a destination management company.
