Course objectives
Contractual Relationships in Finance (PFSVVP) The course broadens the knowledge of legal aspects of enterprise in finance. It is subsequent to the course Law and Finance. Knowledge of the basic principles of the legal form of the operation and management of capital and money market entities is expected, as well as knowledge of the market s main instruments. The course covers the fundamental principles and institutes of commercial contractual relationships in the area of financial enterprise. Specimen commercial contracts will be presented in the course and practical examples will be used. The focus of the course is a reaction to a growing number of serious breaches of law and illegal practices used in the banking sector, in collective investment and on the capital market in both standard and non-standard business transactions of financial institutions. Examination: written and oral. Credit requirements: active participation in seminars and a seminar essay.
