Course objectives
Microeconomics II (MIKR) This intermediate level course builds on the basics of microeconomics. It aims to equip students with an in-depth knowledge of the behaviour of market economic subjects. Interpretation of market behaviour uses instruments of quantitative analysis, both in the case of theory of consumer behaviour and theory of firm. The accent is on specific features of individual market situations. In a similar way, factors of production markets are presented and explained. The course reaches the level of knowledge necessary for the graduate from master's study and it is a prerequisite for taking up doctoral economic orientation. Examination: written and oral.
