- Course objectives
- The course is focused especially on public support of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic. At first the attention is paid on importance of enterprise and business environment. Hereinafter general motives for enterprise support and legislative and conceptual base of enterprise support are discussed. The attention is paid also on forms, tools and institutions for supporting enterprises. The main accent is put on Czech and European programmes for support of enterprise. The attention is also paid to preparing of application of support. Students of this course obtain also basic knowledge on operating of enterprises. After attending this course students should be able to adapt on changes in this area, should be able to recommend suitable support for concrete firm in concrete situation and should know the basic procedures during support applying.

- Teaching methods
- Lessons take form of lectures and seminars. Reading of the obligatory literature is expected.
- Assessment methods
- The written exam consists of three parts: a numerical exercise, open questions and a multiple choice test. 30 points can be usually obtained in total; to pass the exam the student needs 21 points (70 %). Semester requirements: seminar project (POT).
