- Syllabus
- The seminar reviews selected topics in IT security in a greater depth. Students are expected to deliver solutions to several assignments and a term project. The project is essential to the final colloquy in the end of the term.
- Topics of the seminars cover applications of cryptographic mechanisms, especially of the public key techniques.
- Key management.
- Authentication.
- Security in communications and networks.
- Personal security and professional ethics.
- Role of standards and evaluation (criteria).
- State restrictions and cryptography.
- Up-to-date topics are also set during the term.
