- In this short seminar we will cover the basics of Java and 3D graphics. Java is a new object-oriented programming language designed with network-based applications in mind. Moreover, the Java language is designed to operate in a multi-vendor, cross-platform environments. How we can use Java will be illustrated in the context of writing simple 3D graphics applications. In four four-hour lectures, we will cover the basics of Java, the basics of 3D graphics, and the the interplay of the two.
