The basic prerequisite for the beginning of Physiology studies are:
- Regular registration of the subject and successful completion of the so-called prerequisites in the bachelor's study program at FSpS (Anatomy - bp4008, Physiology - bp4013).

Cílem předmětu je získat znalosti o funkci lidského těla na úrovni předmětu Fyziologie zátěže a aplikovat je na vybrané úpolové sporty a související technické činnosti. Přednášky se konají - po dobu epidemie - distanční formou!
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- apply current knowledge of stress physiology to the needs of security forces;
- to describe and summarize important concepts of human physiology and pathophysiology in extreme conditions.

  • Human Physiology and Pathophysiology in Extreme Conditions:
  • - thermoregulation (the reaction and adaptation of the body to heat and cold)
  • - stay in a mountainous environment (reaction and adaptation of the organism)

  • - gravitational overload (reaction and adaptation of the organism)

Teaching methods
Lecture and practice. The exercises are both theoretical and practical. Teaching methods: presentation, discussion, filling of worksheets and protocols, demonstration of tests, practical measurements, homework.
Assessment methods
Written final exam. Elaborated worksheets and protocols. The final test usually contains 50 questions from   lectured courses. For a successful test, you must have at least 70% of the correct answers.
