- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to extend the basic swimming skills of expanding knowledge and skills in the aquatic environment such as rescue the drowning, swimming in clothes, swimming under difficult conditions, endurance swimming, underwater swimming and diving.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to:
- Prove swimming skills by crossing the distance of 400 m by crawl;
- Prove swimming skills under difficult conditions;
- Evaluate the specific situation and apply your skills to save the drowning; - Syllabus
- Perfection of swimming techniques of breaststroke, backstroke, crawl and basics of endurance swimming.
- Elementary swimming and swimming with aids.
- Underwater swimming and orientation in the aquatic environment.
- Help the tired swimmer and rescue the drowning.
- Swimming in clothes, swimming in difficult conditions.

- Practical training in the form of exercises and theoretical instruction in the form of lectures.
- Assessment methods
- The subject will be finished after the practical test, which includes the following tasks: 400m crawl in time according to the available tables, underwater swimming - at least 25m, towing the dummy - at least 50m.
