- Students will be inform about role of nutrition in correct operation of organism delivery.
- Syllabus
- 1. Nutrition standards - energetic need of organism.
- 2. Methods evaluations of nutrition.
- 3. Malnutrition, different kinds of malnutrition.
- 4. Undernourishment, marasus, kwashiorkor, marasmic kwashiorkor.
- 5. Specific deficieny: endemic wen, xerophthalmus.
- 6. Nutritional anemia, nutritional osteopenia.
- 7. Beriberi, deficiency of riboglavin, pellagra.
- 8. Scorbute and another symptoms of deficiency of vitamin C.
- 9. Supernutrition, overweight.
- 10. Diet recommendation for population in the Czech Republic.
- 11. Methods of detection of nutrition status.
- 12. Anthropometric measurements - theoretically.
- 13. Anthropometric measurements - practically.
